Remain in Faith

Followers of the Savior need to live a life of devotion because of the fantastic new life we have been given. The Scripture says: You have come to Jesus, the one who mediates the new covenant between God and people… Hebrews 12:24 (NLT). We are part of something big now and we must let our faith continually grow larger. The world may make us seem small but we can all maintain a gigantic faith. Strive to own a pure faith.

God’s family is a complete unit of one. It is very important to encourage each other to be faithful. Paul wrote to his converts and said: So we have been greatly encouraged in the midst of our troubles and suffering, dear brothers and sisters, because you have remained strong in your faith. 1 Thessalonians 3:7 (NLT). When our Christian friends are suffering we must attempt to comfort them even if we are not good at it. They need to know we are concerned.

The fact that we are genuine in our faith is enough to lift the spirit of someone who is down. The Bible continues: It gives us new life to know that you are standing firm in the Lord. How we thank God for you! 1 Thessalonians 3:8-9 (NLT). One of the beautiful facets God polishes is our faith, because it brings Him glory. Comforting our friends shows them we really believe. The glory of God’s plan is seen when we remain rock-solid in our faith.

Transformation is the miracle that has happened to a Christian. It begins for us when we ask Jesus to save us and become the Lord of our life. Spirit of Jesus then rules our life from with-in our soul. A real believer is continually changing for the better. Of course the Devil never stops testing us and trying to make us fail our Lord. With the help of the Spirit we can stay firmly committed to Jesus. This brings glory to God.

All of creation is real because of the glory that is God. We rejoice because: God has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires. 2 Peter 1:4. The promises of God give us strength to remain in the faith. As we stay busy serving the Lord our commitment becomes stronger. It is possible to escape this world.

Christians have value because the Spirit is living in them. We could not be used to build God’s temple if we had no value. Paul said: Don’t you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you?... For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple. 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 (NLT). The fact that we can be used by the Almighty as part of His new creation should be thrilling to us. Always Remain in Faith.
