Unlimited Resources

Jesus has your new life’s work if you will join Him! “You can have unlimited resources.” When a person takes a new job there is nothing they would rather hear than these words. The Lord is making this offer to people who will trust Him completely. The Scripture says: from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit… Eph 3:16 (NLT). A Christian can be spiritually powerful.

Resources must be identified and accessed if we want to use them. Knowing how to drive is good but we must learn how to put gas in our car.  There are many people today that have studied Jesus and the Spirit extensively but have not learned how to utilize their power. God’s unlimited resources are available thru Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Christians cannot ignore the Spirit and then access unlimited power.

God’s resources are intended for the good of His family. Individuals will eventually find their home in Hell but God’s family will enjoy a home in Heaven together. In other words, we must be interested in the family to access the wealth of our Father. The Bible says:  For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future. Eph 4:4 (NLT). The riches of God are for the members of His family.

Unlimited resources are available in the new covenant we have been given. Every Christian has a position that has been assigned to them. Paul said: God has enabled us to be ministers of his new covenant. This is a covenant not of written laws, but of the Spirit. 2 Cor 3:6 (NLT). It should be obvious that the ministers of this covenant will have God’s resources available to them. People who are not ministering to others are self-deceived.

It is our responsibility to continually depend on the Spirit to enable us. Christians are urged to: …be filled with the Holy Spirit, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, and making music to the Lord in your hearts. Eph 5:18-19 (NLT). Our relationship with the Lord continues to grow as we verbalize our thankfulness for this powerful new life. Most of the time God’s love simply spills out of us.

God’s family is about eternal relationships. To avail ourselves of spiritual resources we must understand the chain of command. The source of all life is God. Our new life comes thru Jesus and the Spirit. Then we are filled until the overflow reaches out to those around us. Our needs can be met by resources that we did not know were available. Many times we will receive so much that we become spoiled.

The secret of God’s resources is Jesus living in us. The new covenant life is beyond explanation because we don’t know all the unlimited resources of God. Many times unexpected solutions will arrive at just the right time. This kind of surprise makes our new life fun and interesting. If only we could convince the unbelievers what a great life is waiting for them.
